UK Tech Fest Announce Secret Headliner

NORTHLANE have been announced as the final headliners for this year’s UK TECH-FEST.

Hot off the back of their latest album Mesmer, this will be NORTHLANE‘s second appearance in the UK over the festival season having performed on the main stage at Download Festival.

UK TECH-FEST are also pleased to announce Loki Films are a sponsor for the event, as well as confirming that Carillion Guitars will be sponsoring the main stage and ticket agents Gigantic are sponsoring the second stage.

Headlining Friday are THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, Saturday headliners are TEXTURES and those with early bird tickets will witness CHELSEA GRIN headline on Thursday.

Phoenix – Alazka

A band that have been making waves over the past few months, the Post-hardcore quintet from Recklinghausen in Germany “Alazka” have announced that they will be bringing out their new album “Phoenix” on the 25th August via the lovely group of guys n gals at SharpTone Records. The awesome new single from their forthcoming album is also called Phoenix and you can listen to it here.

They have also announced that they will be on a headline tour of Europe in September, supported by Swedes “Inninence” and Texan Hardcore Pop Punkers “Across The Atlantic“, who will be doing exactly what their name suggests.

There are two UK dates on their headline tour, you can catch them in Cardiff playing at Fuel Bar on the 19th September and in London at The Black Heart on the 20th September.

Something Something Blog Site

After a 6 month hiatus (kinda), the blog is now alive and kicking again. As you can see I have completely stripped the blog of it’s previous posts and have decided to start fresh from here on out. The site itself has had a bit of a refresh, with a snazzy new wallpaper and a new lick of paint, which I may or may not have personally stolen from the Dulux dog.

The blog will concentrate on promoting emerging alternative music from all over the world from London to LA, Toronto to Tokyo and from Nuuk to Nairobi. The first post will be up from 12pm and each new music post will be daily from 12 from that point onward.

Besides the blog, I will be running my radio show along side as per normal, and that has been something that I had been intending from the beginning, but unfortunately didn’t happen the way that I would have liked to.

I will keep you updated with all that happens in regards to this blog, the show and any future plans (and I can tell you now, there are a fair few of those).
